Welcome!

Truth is by nature self-evident. As soon as you remove the cobwebs of ignorance that surround it, it shines clear.

-Mahatma Gandhi

The very concept of objective truth is fading out of the world. Lies will pass into history.

-George Orwell

We live in interesting times. We have much of the information published in the world literally at our fingertips. We can communicate with anyone in the world from just about any physical location on our planet. The ability to access and share information should have ushered in a new Golden Age.

I don’t see evidence that a new era of enlightenment and peace has broken out. I see global economic systems that are broken in spite of a world-wide stock market which has done incredibly well. The United States stock market recently hit a milestone when it became the longest bull market in our nation’s history. Poverty has increased. Conflict has increased. War has increased.

All is not lost. The technology boon has allowed people information which has caused some to ask fundamental questions about our history. The truth movement is alive and well. Unfortunately, the movement to uncover truth has been mostly avoided by the majority of people and has been openly mocked by the mainstream media.

“Truth” websites haven’t helped things. Have you been on a message board, anywhere, lately? People find reasons to argue over everything. Everyday. It must be exhausting for these people.

I would like some space in which truth is explored in an objective manner. It seems to me that there is a need for people to come together with the ultimate goal of discussing and then cataloging truth in a methodical manner. The act of building reasoned consensus which is supported by objective facts is the type of activity which could eventually facilitate organized action and finally see some of the items we believe to be true explored by the general population.

I have no writing experience. I have no experience running a website. For someone starting a blog, those particular deficiencies in experience may be substantial. I have significant questions as to whether this site will be successful in the way that most things are considered successful (like–in this case having more then 1 person in the world who reads it). I’m okay with that.

Thank you for visiting, and welcome to the journey!
